The company announced today that it will work with AEG through its AXS Digital division to assist with admissions to all of its Wizard World shows beginning with Las Vegas Comic Con in April. Wizard World has expanded its schedule for 2015 to include 24 events, around a third of which are new locations and/or dates.
“This partnership with AXS and AEG will take our admissions process to a new level and provide us new business opportunities,” John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO, said in a press release. “In addition to making it easier for fans to gain access to our expanded schedule of shows, working with one of the most influential global entertainment companies in AEG will open up other avenues in the industry as Wizard World continues its growth.”
Details of the partnership were not announced, but it’s safe to assume it will be easier for attendees to order or upgrade tickets to Wizard World shows online and on mobile devices going forward. On-sale dates for the full slate of events are expected to be revealed soon.
In the meantime, the full schedule of 2015 Wizard World conventions can be found on WizardWorldDigital.com.
