Want to See the Joker’s New Face?
By Skip Harvey
Warning: Spoiler Alert
In case you were unaware, the current comic version of the Joker had his face cut off and loosely reattached in a gruesome stunt. Now he has re-emerged with a brand new look and a whole new attitude.
"Basically Joker comes and says ‘You know, for a long time Batman you and I have played this game together where we circle each other like cat and mouse, but I’m tired of it and you’ve become boring to me. So now I’m just gonna end everything and destroy everyone.’-Scott Snyder, writer of Batman"
The Joker is the engineer of the current Endgame story arc that pits Batman against the rest of the Justice League, who are ‘Jokerized’. In this reveal, we find out that not only does the Clown Prince of Crime have a new face, but that he’s secretly been working along side the Caped Crusader as an orderly from Arkham Asylum that’s been around since the 2013 Batman Annual.
This issue, Batman #37, is written by Scott Snyder, drawn by Greg Capullo and the variant cover is crafted by Andy Kubert, who will provide such covers through issue #40.
