Spider-Verse Arrives In Spider-Man Unlimited With Spider-Gwen And Morlun
By Nick Tylwalk
Since Spider-Man Unlimited already had a bit of a Spider-Verse vibe to it, what with heroes and villains from different dimensions getting involved, it was only a matter of time before the huge crossover running through the Spider-Man comic books spilled into the mobile game. And that time is now.

The “Morlun Unleashed” event went live last night at midnight, bringing the evil vampire-like guy whose family of Inheritors are the multiversal threat in Spider-Verse into the game. It’s a hard one too, as progress rewards are given for defeating bosses, but you have to make it pretty far on each run before you first encounter Morlun.
You can use the Uncommon, Rare or the brand new Epic Spider-Armor characters for a score boost, which you’re going to want to do since the prize for the top five finishers in your group of 1,000 players is a Legendary rarity Spider-Woman — and not just any Spider-Woman, but Spider-Gwen, the alternate reality Gwen Stacy who was bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker on her world. She’s sure to be as popular in Spider-Man Unlimited as she’s been so far in her comic book appearances, so you’ll want to do your best to acquire her while you have a chance.
Spider-Gwen is also a leaderboard prize today in Unlimited Mode, as is Spider-Girl. And speaking of May Parker, you can also find her Epic card in an Event Portal that gives you a 20 percent chance at her for 25 ISO-8.
There’s more Spider-Verse on the way, and you’ll want to be prepared. Best to get running, jumping, sliding and swinging right now.
