Now a year later, 6-year old Miles “Batkid” Scott is a happy healthy first-grader with his Leukemia still in remission and is going to re-unite with Batman and the Penguin once again, albeit in a more private celebration.
Mike Jutan is a computer graphics engineer at Industrial Light & Magic, played the part of The Penguin.
"We’re getting together, just a small event with the family and all the major players, all the people who helped out on the day."
Eric Johnston is an inventor & acrobat. He played the part of Batman and had Batkid help him save the day.
"Seeing Miles take things from the event and grow over the year is all that any of us are in it for."
San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr will also be in attendance at the private event and he was vital in helping with the authenticity of the event, pleading with Batkid to help restore order to the city. Suhr he says the positivity from that day made the year fly by and he’s amazed he still gets asked about it.
We here at Caped Crusades wish all the best for Miles “Batkid” Scott and if you want to help make a sick kid’s wish come true, here’s some more info.
