Suicide Squad will reportedly begin filming in April and principal filming will run through August. The filming is scheduled to take place at Pinewood Toronto Studios and at various locations around the city.
It should be noted that none of the cast of Suicide Squad has been confirmed at this point, though there have been plenty of strong rumors, most notably Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Tom Hardy, Will Smith and Jai Courtney are reportedly all in talks for roles, with Courtney most likely to be playing Deadshot and Smith possibly being Captain Boomerang. Jesse Eisenberg will likely reprise his role as Lex Luthor as well in Suicide Squad. With filming set to begin in the next several months, hopefully we’ll get confirmation of the stars and their roles in the Suicide Squad soon.
