Batman vs Riddler, Minor League Hockey Style (Video)
By Nick Tylwalk
When Batman and the Riddler throw down in the comics, Batman always wins. The Riddler enjoys matching wits with the Dark Knight, not really trading blows.
But when the Batman and Riddler we’re talking about are minor league hockey players, all bets are off. The Toledo Walleye and Evansville IceMen of the ECHL recently played a game wearing Batman and Riddler-themed jerseys, respectively. This being the minors, the fans on hand were almost guaranteed a fight at some point, and with the score 6-1 in favor of the Walleye in the third period, Toledo’s Cody Lampl and Evansville’s Kevin Harvey decided to drop the gloves and square off.
As you’ll notice in the video below, this Riddler is actually bigger and more aggressive than Batman (maybe he’s on Venom or something). However Lampl manages a pretty swift takedown near the end, leaving him on top when the officials move in to break things up.
As it should be.
