Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2, Episode 9 Synopsis – Ye Who Enter Here
By Nick Tylwalk
I feel like I’ve heard the name of this week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., “Ye Who Enter Here,” somewhere before. Let me think …

Wait a minute. That’s it! It was in Dante’s Inferno as part of the inscription on the gate to Hell!
That doesn’t sound good for our heroes, who are on the hunt for a city that most fans totally expect to be the Inhuman home of Attilan. The thing is that they’ve got to beat Hydra there, plus there’s this little matter of warnings that not everyone is welcome there. That might be why everyone seems to be packing heat in all the pics I’ve seen from this episode.
If it wasn’t for deadly enemies and grim warnings, the official synopsis alone would be enough to get you worried about the health of Phil Coulson’s crew. Take a look:
"S.H.I.E.L.D. discovers the ancient city before Hydra, but uncovering the secrets may require one of Coulson’s team to make the ultimate sacrifice. Meanwhile, May and Skye race to get to Raina before Whitehall takes her."
Bah, I say let Whitehall have her! Also writers and producers, remember that #TriplettDiesWeRiot. Fair warning.
The Indiana Jones aspects of this episode do have me excited, however, along with the chance to see Mac get more time in the field. Tune in for “Ye Who Enter Here” Tuesday at 9 pm on ABC, and return here Wednesday morning for a recap and review from whoever I get to fill in for the vacationing Christina Roberts.
