Look For Big Arrow Surprise In Flash Portion Of Crossover
By Nick Tylwalk
For anyone fearing that character development is going to take a hiatus during the two-night crossover between The Flash and Arrow, set those worries aside. Not only will the two episodes continue to push the current storylines for both heroes, they might even experience some big moments on each other’s shows.

In true teaser fashion, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Zap2it and other journalists that something significant is going to happen to Oliver Queen on Barry Allen’s show:
"They really are important episodes for what Barry is going through, what Oliver is going through. That’s especially true for Oliver. We have one of the biggest surprises on ‘Arrow’ of all time on ‘The Flash’ episode."
I think all fans want to reassured that the crossover episodes “matter” and that the whole thing isn’t just a gimmick, so that’s reassuring. Something else to watch for is how the general tone and outlook of each character leaks into the other, as it sounds like there will be a fun contrast drawn between the more hopeful Flash and generally serious Arrow.
The crossover kicks off Tuesday at 8 pm on The Flash with “Flash vs. Arrow” and continues at 8 pm Wednesday on Arrow in “The Brave and the Bold.”
