See Captain Cold, Heat Wave Team Up In Extended Flash/Arrow Crossover Trailer

We’re only a day away from the first part of the crossover between The Flash and Arrow, but that doesn’t mean The CW can’t stoke the flames of fan hysteria just a little more with an extended trailer — which is exactly what the network did.

The most notable new footage sees two of Flash’s Rogues, Captain Cold and Heat Wave, walking the streets together. We’ve yet to see Heat Wave with his weapon, as it was only offered to him by Captain Cold a few episodes ago. It’s also fun to hear Cold call Flash “the Scarlet Speedster,” one of his enduring nicknames from the Silver Age of DC Comics.
In that same vein, check out Oliver Queen teasing Barry Allen about “giving your enemies silly code names,” immediately followed by Barry bringing upDeathstroke and Huntress. Touché.
Actually, you know what? You’re probably going to watch this extended trailer and find your own favorite part of it. Enjoy it and get even more psyched for the first part of the crossover, “Flash vs. Arrow,” which airs Tuesday at 8 pm on The CW.
