See The New Greg Capullo Batman Action Figures In Action

Just so we’re clear, these are action figures based on the art of Greg Capullo, not action figures of Greg Capullo. Though if you’ve ever seen him in person, you’d likely agree that the popular Batman artist would make a pretty good action figure subject too.

Anyway, the latest line of DC Comics Designer Series toys is out now, giving us figures of Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Red Hood and the impressive Thrasher Suit Batman, which has 50 points of articulation. DC Collectibles somehow convinced all four of them to participate in a fight to the finish that you can see in the video below. Funny, because I’ve never had any luck getting mine to do that.

The Series 2 figures are out now, joining the Batman, Nightwing, Talon and Riddler from Series 1. And a Series 3 is on the way as well, with Batgirl, Two-Face, Jim Gordon and Zero Year Batman (with those snazzy purple gloves!) expected in February. They retail for $24.95, but you can find them at some online retailers for less. Thrasher Suit Batman is the exception, as he’s quite a bit bigger.

Watch them do battle, but remember that they probably won’t do the same thing for you. If they do, be sure to let me know.
