"He is quite a different Alfred than we have seen so far. Zack Snyder had very clear views about what he wanted. I would just say he’s more hands-on perhaps than just a butler."
I would say pretty much every version of Alfred has been way more involved and hands on than your usual butler, has Irons actually seen any portrayal of him? Irons went on to say that due to the huge cast in Batman v Superman, Alfred will have a pretty small role in this particular DC film and aid Batman v Superman reminded him quite a lot of Die Hard With A Vengeance, in which he played the main villain.
We;ll be able to see Irons’ portrayal of Alfred and all the rest of the large cast of Batman v Superman when the film is out in theaters March 25th, 2016.
