Avengers: Age Of Ultron Official Site Now Live
By Nick Tylwalk
Hear that? It’s either the sound of Ultron coming to get us or the sound of the mighty Disney/Marvel marketing machine cranking up another gear as we get ever closer to the May 1 release of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Actually, it could be both, because the official site for the highly anticipated sequel is now live at marvel.com/avengers.
More from Movies
- James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy casts more major DC characters
- New Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom trailer pushes Arthur to his limits
- 7 actors who could replace Ezra Miller as The Flash in the DC Universe
- Masters of the Universe reboot’s new domain could be at Amazon’s Prime Video Streamer
- James Gunn gives interesting update of Superman and Supergirl movies at DC Studios
Along with a newly stylized Avengers logo and a large reminder of when the movie releases, the site currently has tabs so you can watch the extended teaser trailer (the one where the other Avengers try in vain to lift Mjolnir), free downloads (just the aforementioned logo at this point) and the two-paragraph synopsis most fans have seen by now.
Unless you’re like me and always have the option to play sound from different websites turned off, you can also listen to what is either music from Age of Ultron or just mood-setting music that sounds like it could be.
Expect the site to be updated regularly as we get closer to May, because that’s how these things usually work. Not sure that’ll be enough time to prepare for Ultron, though. He’s pretty powerful after all.
