Holiday Batman: Christmas With The Joker
Despite his reputation as someone who isn’t horribly fond of Christmas, Batman spends plenty of time involved in the holidays.

While it may not have been the first episode to air (pretty sure that was On Leather Wings, which was about Man-Bat), Christmas With The Joker is my earliest memory of the seminal Batman The Animated Series. Christmas With The Joker is also one of my overall favorite Christmas episodes of any TV show as well as one of my favorite episodes of Batman The Animated Series. This was the introduction of Mark Hamill as the voice of The Joker, a role he would define for decades and will probably be the standard anybody voicing the Joker will be judged against for decades to come. It sets his tone of psychotic & yet really humorous at the same time. Enjoy Christmas With The Joker and look for more posts on Batman’s involvement with the holidays!
