Jim Carrey Would Play The Riddler Again
At his career peak, Jim Carrey played one of Batman’s top foes, The Riddler, in Batman Forever. As one of the pair of Joel Schumacher-directed Batman films, it isn’t remembered too fondly but at the time Jim Carrey got pretty high praise for his manic performance, and I still think the performance holds up pretty well.

Out promoting his latest film Dumb & Dumber To, Jim Carrey was asked by MTV if he might like to play Riddler again in a new Batman movie (and of course DC does have a new solo Batman film in the works). You’ll have to click the link for the video but Jim Carrey says he’d love to be in the new films, but doesn’t think Nolan (who is still overseeing the production of Batman V Superman even if he isn’t directing) would go for that. I actually think if they ever wanted to make a big screen Flash movie and have say The Trickster as one of the villains, Carrey might be perfect for that, especially as he gets a little older.
