Peyton List Joins The Flash As Another One Of The Rogues

I’m so, so glad that I didn’t list Golden Glider as one of the lame Flash villains I didn’t want to see on TV. It was extremely close. If there was a need for an honorable mention part to a five-person list (there’s not), she would have been on it, because she was a villain who wreaked havoc by using her figure skating prowess and ice skates that could skate on air. Also, her motivation was revenge for the death of the Top, who was on that list.

This is now relevant because Access Hollywood is reporting that Peyton List is joining The Flash in episode 16 as Lisa Snart. She’s the sister of Leonard Snart, better known as Captain Cold, who we’ve already seen in the show played by Wentworth Miller.

And guess what? Lisa was the Golden Glider in the Silver Age. In the current run of the Flash, Snart simply calls herself Glider, and is an ethereal phantom of sorts, gaining the power to project herself in astral form, or something like that. My guess is that if she’s turned into a metahuman, it will be more like that and less like an antigravity ice skater. At least I hope so.

One of the S.T.A.R. Labs crew is going to have to watch out for her too, according to this:

"She’s also not afraid to use her sexuality to get what she wants, which will put her on a collision course with S.T.A.R. Labs employee and friend of The Flash — Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes)."

Cisco’s eye for the ladies is definitely going to get him in trouble before the end of the season, and it sounds like episode 16 could be the time. The Flash returns for its tenth episode on January 20, which means List’s debut should occur sometime in March.
