The Batman 3 Suit That Never Was
Tim Burton was basically blocked from making a third Batman film because Batman Returns was too weird, but of course given the success of the original some work on a third film that was to star Michael Keaton had already been done.

In the featured image, you can get an idea of what the Batsuit Michael Keaton was to wear in Batman 3 would’ve looked like. It’s just a prototype, so nothing is final, but it’s pretty clear that it is leaning more toward being a suit of armor than just your regular suit.
Of course we all know what happened with. Burton & Keaton were out, Schumacher & Kilmer were in, and Batman Forever was created, with a much more campy and family-friendly tone than Burton’s Batman installments. Could Burton have delivered a satisfying third Batman film? We’ll never know.
