Hot Toys Guardians Of The Galaxy Teaser Shows Off Thanos

Hot Toys already makes some pretty sweet Guardians of the Galaxy figures. And not the kind you can find hanging on pegs at your local retailer, either, but ridiculously detailed 1/6 scale recreations that cost a pretty penny but also happen to be worth it.

Apparently Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Little Groot (from when he was moving and grooving in the pre-credits scene) aren’t enough. Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys released this teaser over the holiday, which suggests even more Guardians are on the way in 2015, as well as their foes:

That’s a pretty awesome-looking rendition of the movie version of Thanos, as portrayed by Josh Brolin (aided by Sean Gunn standing in for him on the set). It looks pretty incredible, and most likely will dent your pocketbook quite a bit.

Then there’s that tag line: “A new age begins.” Does that mean Hot Toys have something up its sleeve besides just Sixth-Scale Figures? And what about poor Drax? Isn’t anyone concerned that Dave Bautista is going to come looking for them for leaving him out of the line?

I’m sure Sideshow and Hot Toys won’t keep us waiting long to find out. Until then, start saving your pennies.
