Gotham: Arkham Asylum Feature!
Gotham returns tonight on Fox with it’s premiere focused around one of Gotham’s most infamous institutions, Arkham Asylum, which has been the holding place for many of Batman’s most infamous foes over the years. Even though Batman has been around for over 75 years now, Arkham Asylum itself has only really been around as a concept since 1974, and then it was actually “Arkham Hospital”, but it was still a house for the criminally insane. In 1980 it was officially renamed Arkham Asylum and of course has kept that name ever since.

In this featurette exclusive to the Hollywod Reporter (which we unfortunately cannot embed, so click the link for the video), Gotham stars Ben McKenzie (James Gordon) & Donal Logue Harvey Bullock discuss what exactly is going down in Arkham Asylum on Gotham. The most interesting part to me is the end of video, where Ben McKenzie hints that during his tenure as a guard at Arkham Asylum, Gordon will certianly meet and interact with some of it’s most infamous inmates. Will we see some more possible Jokers? Killer Croc? The Ventriloquist? Calender Man? Who knows, but we’ll be very excited to find out when Gotham returns tonight on Fox!
