Will Arnett talks ‘LEGO Batman’ Solo Film
By Skip Harvey
You may all know by now, but the current series of LEGO Batman films are likely to be replaced with Will Arnett’s version of the Dark Knight from the LEGO Movie. The powers that be have already announced Arnett’s solo film as a follow-up to the wildly popular animated feature.
Now, MTV has caught up with the actor and he spilled a little bit about what audiences can expect when it eventually hits screens. He and filmmakers Chris Miller and Phil Lord had a bit to say on the subject.
"“No spoilers,” Lord teased. “But I will say I think the movie is really exciting because it’s about ‘Can Batman be happy?’”We’ve certainly never seen a particularly happy Batman on the big or small screen before, which is something that Lord made sure to heavily put in perspective.“‘Wah, I’m so rich and handsome, and women like me, and I’ve got a Maclaren,’” Lord said, obviously mimicking the Dark Knight. “‘Something about my parents!’”“The action in it is incredible,” he teased. “It’s impressive.”Arnett: “The first bit that I’ve seen was mind-boggling.”"
