Drew Powell Talks Gotham!
Drew Powell plays Mob boss Fish Mooney’s top enforcer Butch Gilzean on the hit Tv show Gotham on Fox. While Butch didn’t start off with a huge role, he’s certainly become more of a key player in the last couple of episodes, being instrumental in how the tide is turning with the internal mob war in Gotham. Drew Powell recently sat down for a lengthy in-depth interview with AfterBuzz TV to talk about the show and his character.

In the video below, Drew Powell talks about Butch and how he was designed as a “slow burn” character from the beginning and how he did really get a chance to shine in the most recent episode, “Rogue’s Gallery”. Powell also discusses the chemistry between himself and Jada Pinkett Smith who plays Fish Mooney. It is admittedly a fairly lengthy interview, clocking in at a little over 45 minutes, but Powell seems like a pretty interesting guy to interview.
He hasn’t gotten a lot of chance to shine on Gotham so far, but with him finally getting some serious screen time in the last episode and the mob war in Gotham really starting to heat up, he’ll get more chances to show what he’s capable of. Catch Drew Powell as Butch on Gotham Mondays on Fox and enjoy the full interview below:
