Caped Crusades Review of Gotham Episode Rogue’s Gallery
Warning: This article does contain spoilers for the Gotham episode Rogue’s Gallery
Happy New Year Batman fans! Gotham is back on the air and I have our weekly episode review for you!
First thought while watching Rogue’s Gallery- seems to be a stupid idea to allow the Arkham patients to put on this play. It’s bound to set somebody off, oh look there they go! I’m pretty sure everyone who watched this episode saw that coming. As we can see from this episode of Gotham, Arkham has pretty much always had an incompetent director long before Batman came into the picture.
I really hope the rumors about Gordon and Dr. Leslie Thompkins are wrong, there is no need to make up a romance between them when Sarah Essen already established on the show. The flirting is really bothering me.

I thought Cat might take Ivy to Wayne Manor for half a minute, but then I realized that as much as she wants to help the other girl, she also really doesn’t want Ivy anywhere near Bruce. Plus Ivy probably wouldn’t be willing to go there anyway.
I think Ivy must get adopted at some point, because there has been talk that adoption is how she goes from Ivy Pepper to Pamela Isley which is of course the name we all know Poison Ivy by.
Don Maroni is going to pay for teaching Penguin a lesson by having him picked up by the police. Cobblepot won’t let anyone get away with treating him in that manner, not for long.
Gruber is creepy, and yes I suspected him from the start, it doesn’t hurt that he and his victim are the only two inmates that aren’t run through in a montage for the interview. Of course Christopher Heyerdahl who plays Gruber excels at playing creepy characters.
Renee is right, Barbara is toxic, I just want her married to Gordon long enough to bear him Jim and Barbara Jr. and then I just want her gone.
Bullock was so very happy to see Gordon, which is funny when you consider how much he previously disliked the man.
If that incompetent Arkham director had been fired earlier, as he clearly should have been, he wouldn’t be dead now.
I see Fish and Penguin going head to head at some point in the future. They’ll bump off the other crime bosses and it’ll be just them and the Dons.
