You Can Win a Copy of ‘Absolute Batman Inc’!
By Skip Harvey
DC Comics is on a quest to get 1,000,000 followers on Twitter, and they’re giving away a ton of cool stuff to get there.
"We told you the prizes would be must-haves for any DC Comics fan. Well, today we kick things off right with a copy of ABSOLUTE BATMAN, INCORPORATED.He may be lighting up the DC Multiverse right now, but Grant Morrison has had a long history with Batman. There was his introduction of Bruce Wayne’s son and eventual Robin, Damian Wayne, the mega-event BATMAN, R.I.P. and of course the now classic Dick and Damian team-up in Batman and Robin. However, Morrison really opened up a whole new world for the Dark Knight when he introduced Batman, Incorporated, a worldwide network of allies for Batman, all financed by the fortune of Bruce Wayne in a public manner. Now you can own that saga in the ultimate collector’s edition featuring stories from BATMAN, INCORPORATED #1-8, BATMAN, INCORPORATED: LEVIATHAN RISES #1, BATMAN, INCORPORATED VOL. 2 #1-13 and BATMAN, INCORPORATED SPECIAL #1. It’s all here. Knight and Squire. El Gaucho. Batwing. Leviathan. And that shocking, far too tragic ending. It’s a modern day classic that’s well deserving of the Absolute Edition treatment… and a prominent place on your bookshelf. Here’s how to enter to win:1) If you’re not already doing so, follow @DCComics on Twitter.2) Before 11:59 p.m. PST on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, tweet out the following message: I’m entering to win a Batman, Inc Absolute Edition from @DCComics. #DC1MillionBatmanThat’s all there is to it. After the deadline, we’ll randomly select a winner from all eligible entries and contact them via direct message, so be sure to check your DMs!Good luck today, and don’t forget to visit DCComics.com tomorrow for another exciting giveaway."
DC has put a lot of effort into making Absolute Batman Inc an epic read, even commissioning new artwork to replace the rushed pages from the original release. It seems like a pretty worthwhile contest to me.
