Gotham: Clare Foley’s Brothers Think She’s Really Poison Ivy

Clare Foley plays Ivy Pepper, destined to become future Batman villain Poison Ivy on Fox. Now most of us can easily tell the difference between reality and TV. Ivy Pepper is a kind of disturbing kid, you probably wouldn’t want her as a sibling. But Clare Foley isn’t like Ivy Pepper in real life. But Clare Foley does a have a much younger brother who believes she’s actually the character she plays on TV.

Essentially, Clare Foley’s 4-year old brother, Dylan, thinks she’s Ivy Pepper, and was absolutely terrified of her. Their parents had to assure him that Clare Foley was in fact “good Ivy” and not the character he sees on Gotham. Foley also has 3 other brothers, but they are old enough to know the difference. They are all Batman fans and think it’s “very cool” that she has this role, but she’s also “just their sister” according to Foley.
