Splashdata released their list of the 25 worst passwords to use, which is made up of over 3 million passwords that were leaked in the last year. Though near the bottom of the list, both Batman & Superman rank as one of the worst passwords to use. Here’s the full list in order from 1 to 25:
"123456 password 12345 12345678 qwerty 123456789 1234 baseball dragon football 1234567 monkey letmein abc123 111111 mustang access shadow master michael superman 696969 123123 batman trustno1"
If your password is any one of these passwords (or a slight variation on these) you may want to change them quickly. Just goes to show you can’t always depend on Batman (or Superman for that matter) to save the day on everything…
