Warner Bros. had reached out to Jake Gyllenhaal about replacing Tom Hardy in the role of Rick Flagg after Hardy dropped out reportedly due to issues with the script. No reason for Jake Gyllenhaal passing was given, but he could’ve just not been interested in being in a comic book movie. So the search for Rick Flagg continues. A replacement better be found relatively quickly if they want to start shooting in April as originally planned. Who could possibly be a good fit for the role of Rick Flagg in the Suicide Squad movie? Well if by some miracle Warner Bros is listening, I have a few ideas who could fill in for the role and do a pretty good job. Regardless, Waner Bros. needs to fix this casting whole quick if they want to keep on schedule and make the planned August 5, 2016 release of the Suicide Squad movie.
