New Suicide Squad Casting Rumors!
Several big casting rumors have come out today swirling around several roles in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie!

Firstly, the search for a replacement for Tom Hardy for the part of Rick Flagg continues. Jon Bernthal and Joel Edgerton are now in the running apparently. Joel Edgerton was most recently in Exodus, Gods & Kings. Jon Bernthal has worked with Suicide Squad director David Ayer before on the war drama Fury starring Brad Pitt. Either would make a fine addition to the cast.
Secondly, Gary Sinise is rumored to be in talks to play General Wade Eiling. Eiling is a villain in the DC Universe who created both Captain Atom & Major Force, but is usually a foe of Captain Atom or the Justice League. No word on what role Eiling would play in the Suicide Squad movie, but Sinise is an incredibly talented actor and would bring a lot to the film, so I certainly hope this rumor is true.
Finally, Joe Manganiello of True Blood and How I Met Your Mother is apparently in contention for the role of assassin Death Stroke. The main thing that bothers me about this is that there is already an excellent Death Stroke in Manu Bennett on the TV show Arrow, but DC seems to want their movie & TV universes be completely different even though it would make a lot more sense for them to be one coherent universe. Anyways, nothing in these stories is confirmed or official so take it with a grain of salt, but the continuing casting rumors around Suicide Squad remain interesting.
