Julia Roberts To Produce & Star In Batkid Movie

Yes, there already is a movie about Batkid. If you’ve been following our reporting n the Batkid story, Miles Scott, who the city of San Fransisco let be “Batkid” for a day, had a documentary about him recently debut at the Slamdance Film Festival. But now, Batkid is getting the Hollywood treatment.

A feature film based on Miles Scott, aka Batkid, is in the works and Hollywood megastar Julia Roberts is attached to be both a producer and star of the film. The director of Batkid Begins, Dana Nachman, will serve as Executive Producer on the movie and had this to say on the matter:

"It’s thrilling to me that Ms. Roberts and her team watched our film and were so moved by it that they want to dedicate their time and creative capital to make sure the widest audience possible will know and love Miles’ story and the spirit of this intimate special event that went global, as much as we do."
