‘Batman v Superman’ Super Bowl Trailer After All???
By Skip Harvey
At first, the rumors of a Batman v Superman trailer started heating up for good reason. We knew several other blockbuster films like Jurassic World were confirmed to show new footage and some, like Star Wars, were likely. Why not BvS? DC does need to make a statement with Age of Ultron coming soon, and there are few bigger venues than The Super Bowl.
Then logic set in. The film was almost 2 years away, very little ad space was available and no one had heard anything about an official trailer…until now. Keep in mind that we’ve seen faked images before, like the title cards that revealed the movie would be split into 2 films. That being said, check out what cropped up online:
This came from iSpot.tv, a streaming website showing Super Bowl ads. Is this a hoax? Is it for real. Well, we have a couple of hours to find out. If I had to guess, I’d say it was fake, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a teaser pop up.
What do you think, Bat-fans? Will we see a trailer while scarfing down cheese dip?
