No, you didn’t miss it. There was no Batman v Superman trailer during the Super Bowl, even though it had been rumored just hours before. At first we didn’t think there would be one, then we thought ‘why not?’, then we shot down the possibility logically, then this showed up on a streaming website that showed Super Bowl ads:
Those cheeky interweb tricksters did it again! Just like with a few of the trailers, ‘leaked’ images and THIS nonsense:
…we kinda knew this wasn’t a real thing, but we would have all been kicking ourselves in the unlikely even that it was true. That means DC and WB aren’t going to have a whole lot of opportunities to reach a large audience to show us one before Age of Ultron hits theaters. The most likely one will be attaching it to Jupiter Ascending, assuming that film isn’t a total flop. If not, Marvel will be up 2 big-event team movies before DC gets 2. They are already on Phase 3 of their cinematic universe and DC has just barely started their first.
Guess we’ll find out their plan, good or bad, soon.
