Arkham Knight Novel Coming In July

Want to not just play Arkham Knight, but also read it? Well you are in luck as a novelization is on the way, written by comics writer Marv Wolfman. His reveal on his facebook about the novel may have let slip news about a slight delay for the highly anticipated game though.

Marv Wolfman’s Facebook post about the Arkham Knight novel was taken down, but as this is the internet, that means nothing. Wolfman suggests both the book and the game, which as far as we know, is scheduled to come out June 2nd, are in fact coming out sometime in July:

"Well, I can finally tell folk what I’ve been working on these past months in total secrecy, even from my dog. I wrote the official novelization for Arkham Knight, based on the upcoming video game, and had a ball doing it. The story is highly emotional and I’m exceedingly happy with the results. Both game and book come out in July. I’ll post the cover here once it’s official. Anyway, whew, it feels great finally being able to talk about it. My dog is happy, too. I no longer have to keep throwing her out of my office while I’m working."

So did Wolfman let slip yet another delay for Arkham Knight? It’s certainly possible, June is still a ways off and Rocksteady announced that release date quite awhile ago. And surely for maximum effect, Warner Bros would want an Arkham Knight tie-in book to be released in the same general period as the game. Of course a few weeks wouldn’t make a difference. We won’t really know until someone from Rocksteady confirms or denies this, but for now still consider Arkham Knight the video game still due out June 2nd and the book due out July 7th.
