Stephen Amell Talks Possibility Of A Gotham Crossover
Stephen Amell is a big fan of crossovers. He wants Arrow to crossover with pretty much every DC show on the air now or coming soon. Hell, he’d probably want an Arrow crossover with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. if that was ever remotely possible. At his panel at Dallas Comic Con’s Fan Days this weekend, Stephen Amell got realistic about the odds of Arrow crossing over with various shows including Gotham.

"It would be interesting. I was saying this earlier. It would be interesting to cross over with Constantine, only because he knows a lot about the Lazarus Pit, which is something that we’ve introduced in the show this year,” Amell told his audience. “It would be cool to crossover with Supergirl because it’s something with Greg Berlanti, who’s the helmer and sort of the brain trust or the center of the brain trust of Arrow and The Flash and I know so many of the people that are involved in the production of that show so that would be really interesting. And Gotham would be a tough one, just because I think they’re out in a different time but the crossover with The Flash was so much fun and did so well that I can’t imagine a world — a universe, no pun intended — where that didn’t happen and continue to happen all the time."
Stephen Amell is realistic about a Gotham crossover, but frankly given that Gotham at least presumably takes place well before Arrow & Batman v. Superman might take place years after Arrow is currently set, if DC wouldn’t be so weird and arbitrary about how their characters were used, we could at least see Batman or Bruce Wayne at some middle point in his life on Arrow like both Stephen Amell & David Ramsey want. Hell, with Flash & Arrow in the same Universe, and Flash definitely introducing an element of time travel, even Arrow traveling to a pre-Batman Gotham isn’t out of the realm of possibility. Someone make this happen!
