The Walking Dead’s Emily Kinney To Play Villain On The Flash
By Nick Tylwalk
I’m not a huge watcher of The Walking Dead myself, which puts me among the minority of TV viewers. I do know this much, though: a lot of fans were upset when Beth Greene was killed off earlier this season.

Never fear, though, as Emily Kinney, who played Beth, will be popping up again on genre TV very soon. Screen Crush says that Kinney will appear in an upcoming episode of The Flash, apparently playing a female version of the Bug-Eyed Bandit.
If you don’t recognize that name as a Flash villain, there’s a good reason for that. The Bug-Eyed Bandit was a foe of the Atom in Silver Age DC comics, creator of tiny, robotic insects that he used to commit crimes (but alas, not very good at coming up with cool super villain names). He even figured out the Atom’s secret identity at one point.
Screen Crush speculates that perhaps Kinney will be the enemy that the Flash and Atom deal with together during the season’s 18th episode, “All-Star Team-Up,” when Arrow‘s Ray Palmer and Felicity Smoak take a trip to Central City. That would indeed be perfectly logical, and if confirmed, would undoubtedly ensure a bunch of The Walking Dead fans are watching so they can see Beth again, in a manner of speaking.
