Constantine Preview – S01E13 – Waiting For The Man
By Steve Lam
This is it. The Season One finale episode of Constantine. I’m definitely a fan holding out hope that this is not going to be a series finale. With recent rumors that a new network and a name change might keep the series going, Constantine fans can be sure that the producers won’t give up without a fight. Out favorite con man magician has come quite a ways since his introduction to television audiences in October of 2014. We’ve seen him lose and gain a partner (the exit of Liv Aberdine and the introduction of Zed Martin), sacrifice a friend to save the world (A Feast of Friends), embark on a mission to stop the Rising Darkness, and face a myriad of other challenges that have further evolved his character. In the season finale, John will battle against a vengeful Papa Midnite. Here’s the official synopsis for Waiting for the Man:
"John (Matt Ryan) and Zed (Angélica Celaya) return to New Orleans when Detective Jim Corrigan (guest star Emmett Scanlan) asks for their help in the case of a missing girl. Papa Midnite (guest star Michael James Shaw) takes steps toward exacting his revenge on John. Meanwhile, the truth behind the Rising Darkness comes to light. Harold Perrineau also stars."
And of course, the exciting official promo for the episode:
