Spider-Man WILL appear in Captain America 3: Civil War

The first thing I thought when the deal between Marvel and Sony was announced and I saw that he’d be appearing in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film before his solo-film outing in 2017 was that we’d be seeing Spider-Man in Captain America 3, as Spidey is a big part of the Civil War storyline. I even wrote an article suggesting he was all-but confirmed to appear! That’s how confident I was.

So you can imagine how happy I was to find out that I wouldn’t be eating my words as another online news source had apparently confirmed it! Which is exactly what the Wall Street Journal did when they reported that Spider-Man would be in the third Captain America thanks to an inside source.

"The two companies said late Monday that Spider-Man will appear in an upcoming Disney-produced Marvel super-heroes movie; that movie is 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War,” according to a person with knowledge of the matter"

Admittedly ‘A person with knowledge on the matter’ has never been a cast-iron guarantee in reliability or truthfulness but it’s still something confirming that Spider-Man will be a big part of the Civil War storyline on film and my weakness to childish wish fulfillment forces me to accept this report as the truth!
