Get A (Quick) Look At Grodd In New Teaser Video For The Flash
By Nick Tylwalk
I’ve been pretty impressed with the way The Flash has been able to incorporate some of the more outlandish elements of the comics into TV in its first season. One big villain from the Flash mythos that I wasn’t sure the writers would be able to pull off was Grodd, because well, he’s a telepathic gorilla.

Yet we’ve already seen hints in several episodes that Grodd is not only in the series, but that he’s actively coming closer to his first run-in with the Fastest Man Alive. And Entertainment Weekly, who gets to play with lots of the cool stuff first, got to premiere a new 30-second teaser video for The Flash that puts all the pieces together for us.
Comic Book Resources also worked quickly to pull out a shot of Grodd’s face, which you can see above. Yep, he’s definitely a gorilla. Both EW and CBR make mention of the fact that one of the poor victims in the clip mentions a voice that’s “in my head,” meaning his telepathic powers have made it to the tube as well. Nicely done.
As long as we’re daring them to do stuff, I’m thinking Gorilla City is probably out of the question. At this point, though, I wouldn’t rule anything out.
Keep watching The Flash, because Grodd is on his way.
