Gotham Preview – S01E16 – The Blind Fortune Teller
By Steve Lam
Butch Gilzean, due to his loyalty, seemed to be staring at a grim fate when he was cornered by Victor Zsasz in Welcome Back, Jim Gordon. However, it seems like we have a hint of what happens to him in the synopsis for this week’s Gotham episode, The Blind Fortune Teller.
Moving onto relationships, Gordon and Leslie finally have some alone time — that is until they’re thrusted into another investigation during their date at the circus. Speaking of the circus, this episode will feature the appearance of a famous family in Batman’s mythology — the Graysons.
As for Bruce Wayne’s neverending quest for justice, it seems that his little adventure in the woods has made him brave enough to face corruption within Wayne Enterprises head on. And finally, this week’s episode will most likely show us how Fish Mooney intends to return to Gotham City and reveal exactly where she’s being held prisoner. Here’s the official synopsis for The Blind Fortune Teller:
"Gordon takes Dr. Leslie Thompkins (guest star Morena Baccarin) to the circus, but the day turns quickly when the circus comes under attack. Then, Falcone enlists Butch Gilzean to help Penguin with the night club, while Fish Mooney is otherwise occupied. Also, Bruce Wayne schedules a meeting with the Wayne Enterprises board in the all-new “The Blind Fortune Teller” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Feb. 16 (8:00-9:00 ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-116) (TV-14 D, L, V)"
And, of course, the exciting trailer for the episode:
Enjoy this week’s new episode, and check back with us on Tuesday morning for our full recap and review.
