Two front-runners emerge for new Spider-Man

Already the internet is awash with hundreds of suggestions for who should play the next Spider-Man now that Andrew Garfield’s time as Peter Parker is all-but over. Quite a lot of the suggestions are ridiculous but some of them are actually quite good and already two front-runners seem to be emerging as potential Spider-Man successors.
Dylan O’Brien
First up we have Dylan O’Brien who most recently starred in ‘The Maze Runner’ but is also the best friend of the lead character in ‘Teen Wolf’. O’Brien is already set to star in one big blockbuster franchise with the sequel to ‘The Maze Runner’ already well on its way. But what’s one more huge blockbuster set of films to a young actor who is very much at the start of what looks like a promising career.
Logan Lerman
Then we have Logan Lerman, another young up and coming rising star who most recently starred alongside Brad Pitt in ‘Fury’. However he’s probably best known for his starring role in the ‘Percy Jackson’ film franchise. Whilst Lerman is still young he’s been appearing in films since he was eight, and has even appeared in films like ‘What Women Want’, ‘The Patriot, ‘The Butterfly Effect’ and ‘3:10 to Yuma’. He’s definitely got the experience
