Arrow Season 3, Episode 15 Synopsis: Nanda Parbat
By Nick Tylwalk
It’s getting really hard to tell who feels what way about Malcolm Merlyn on Arrow. After Thea Queen’s biological father released Deathstroke last week simply to test his daughter and our hero, Oliver Queen, you’d think that everyone would have pretty much given up on Malcolm.

But nope, when Ra’s al Ghul finally makes his move, it appears Ollie and John Diggle are going to try to rescue Merlyn — though that mission may not go according to plan. At least that’s what I took away from the official synopsis of “Nanda Parbat,” provided by The CW:
"Malcolm is captured by Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) and taken to Nanda Parbat. Because of his love for Thea, Oliver considers saving Merlyn. Ray is obsessed with finishing his Atom suit so he can save the city but Felicity fears he is heading down the same path as Oliver and tries to pull him out of the lab."
A couple of things worth mentioning here:
- What happened to the whole “Ra’s al Ghul” doesn’t take prisoners line Malcolm gave to Roy Harper a few weeks ago? Because it sure looks like Merlyn, Oliver and Diggle are all going to end up captured at some point this week.
- Ray Palmer is back, and we’ll get to see the ATOM suit. Hooray! Can we just call it Atom now since The CW isn’t forcing the acronym (thank goodness)? And I thought Felicity had a change of heart about Ray playing super hero?
That’s why we watch, though. Check out this new episode of Arrow Wednesday night at 9 pm, then come back here about 30 minutes later for our recap and review of all the developments from the domain of the Demon’s Head.
