First Avengers: Age Of Ultron Character Poster Features Iron Man

For someone who admittedly doesn’t play well with others, Iron Man is both the brains (along with Bruce Banner) and the backbone of the movie version of the Avengers. That makes it only right for him to end up as the star of the first solo character poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron, which was revealed by Robert Sowney Jr. on Twitter today.

I’d love to ask RDJ why Marvel even bothers giving Iron Man a helmet since they always have him appearing on posters and magazine covers without it, but I think I already know what the answer would be. In any case, Downey also hinted at a big announcement that would be coming next Wednesday:

No worries, Mr. Downey. You had me at “get.”

IGN’s guesses as to what he might be talking about are all awesome: a new trailer, and official look at the Vision, or something related to Spider-Man. There would certainly be enough time to shoot a mid-credits or post-credits scene with the wall-crawler, and if he’s in costume, it wouldn’t matter that he hasn’t actually been cast yet. Surely, they wouldn’t actually give that away ahead of time, though.

We’ll find out on March 4. Until then, somebody please help Tony find his helmet. He might need that against Ultron.
