EW Provides First Look At Transformed Raina On Agents Of SHIELD
By Nick Tylwalk
Poor Raina. She was an absolute true believer in the overall mythology that has been driving Agents of SHIELD since the middle of Season 1, convinced not only that certain people were destined for something more, but also that she’d be transformed into something wonderful.

As we saw in the show’s midseason finale, Raina was indeed changed by exposure to the Terrigen Mist, but while Skye (or Daisy, to be more accurate) seems to have acquired powers while remaining relatively unscathed on a physical level, we got a brief indication that Raina wasn’t so lucky.
Today, Entertainment Weekly got an exclusive look at what she might look like when the show returns, as well as an interview with one of the show’s executive producers, Jeff Bell. The poster is by artist Gabriele Dell’Otto, and while Bell cautioned that Raina’s look isn’t exactly what we’ll see when the series returns next week, it’s certainly in the ballpark.
Take a look:
Really, Rainia should be upset at the people who sold her a bill of goods and turned her into a fanatic. But my guess is that she’s going to blame SHIELD for her new status quo instead.
EW says you’ll be able to buy that poster from the Marvel online shop starting this Friday afternoon. It’s pretty cool, for sure, and Dell’Otto is an amazing artist/painter.
As for Raina, we’ll get our first opportunity to see how she adjusts to life after the Terrigen Mist when Agents of SHIELD returns with a new episode on Tuesday, March 3, at 9 pm on ABC.
