Gotham: Gordon Is Betrayed
James Gordon doesn’t have a lot of people he trusts in Gotham currently, but one of the few he does will betray that trust in a big way on this Monday’s episode! BE WARNED, SPOILERS FOR THIS MONDAY’S EPISODE OF GOTHAM BELOW.

This Monday on Gotham, Gordon learns that dirty cop Arnold Flass, who he had arrested for murdering a police witness, was cleared of all charges due to a mystery witness. That witness? None other than Gordon’s own partner, Harvey Bullock! But of course it’s not as simple as it seems, because Gordon’s chief political enemy, Commissioner Loeb, has dirt on Bullock. Donal Logue explains:
"What Jim doesn’t know about me is I have some skeletons in my past that Loeb is aware of. That’s something Loeb likes to do with a lot of people. If certain things are brought to light that could be the end of my career. I don’t want to reveal the sins of my past, and it makes it difficult for me to want to participate in doing the right thing."
This turn of events leads Gordon to call one of his more unscrupulous friends, Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin, to get rid of Loeb’s blackmail evidence. Mckenzie explains that Gordon thinks Penguin can get things done and he doesn’t really have a better option, so he takes advantage of it.
You can check out an exclusive video at TV Guide of Donal Logue & Ben McKenzie talking about this, and see how it all plays out on an all new episode of Gotham this Monday on Fox!
