Nick Lowe wants to see more of Spider-Verse’s Spider-Punk, Spider-Ma’am and Supaidaman!
By Daniel Wood
Nick Lowe is the Senior Editor of the Spider-Man comic book franchise, which essentially means that he’s sort-of in charge! He oversaw the Spider-Verse event and despite making some ‘editorial doofs’ as he, himself, called it he did a pretty good job arranging the appearance of ‘every Spider-Man ever!’
As a consequence of the event we now have both a Silk and a Spider-Gwen solo title and a Spider-Verse spin-off title is taking place during Secret Wars that will bring back Spider-UK as well as other favourites like Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man India and Mayday Parker.
But which Spider-Men, or Spider-Women, that appeared in Spider-Verse does Nick Lowe himself want to see again? Well, in an interview with Newsarama he spilled the beans and revealed that he’d quite like to see three of the Spider-Verse’s Spideys again!
"I’d really like to find a place for more Spider-Punk, and I’d love to see more of Spider-Ma’am. And of course, Supaidaman. There are so many of them that I love, and fortunately Secret Wars is gonna give us the opportunity to explore a lot of them."
So there you go, Lowe wants more Spider-Punk, Spider Ma’am and Supaidaman, which of course means more Leopardon! The good thing about fans of those three Spiders is that Lowe is in charge and can make that happen! Fellow Marvel Exec Tom Brevoort recently mentioned that a Supaidaman solo title could happen if the demand was there so he’s clearly also a fan!
