Spider-Man to appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron?
By Daniel Wood
Some rumours are incredibly tenuous and require a fair bit of leaping to conclusions and stretching the imagination for them to have any credence. The following is quite possibly one of the finest examples of this rumour I’ve ever seen. So much so that the only reason I’m reporting it is because other people have and you just never know do you?
It all started with a poster. This poster to be precise
The poster reveals somewhere at the bottom in the wall of text that Danny Elfman is doing ‘extra music’ for the film and it is this revelation that has caused people to make the giant leap from that to Spider-Man appearing in the Avengers.
Why? Let me explain! As well as providing music for Ang Lee’s Hulk, Elfman also more famously wrote the score for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 meaning that people are assuming he’s been hired t by Marvel to do ‘extra music’ indicating a Spider-Man appearance in the Avengers sequel.
I told you it was tenuous.
