Gotham Preview – S01E18 – Everyone Has A Cobblepot
By Steve Lam
Gotham now has big a problem: how do you top last week’s scene involving Fish Mooney’s … ahem … “spooning” incident? It brings new meaning to “there seems to be something in my eye.” Oh yeah, it’s my eye! I guess that’s one way to tell your captors that you’re not messing around. We’ll just have to wait and see if Mooney’s little sacrifice has gained her better leverage.

We also got confirmation that the board of Wayne Enterprises is truly evil, and a bit creepy in an Illuminati sort of way. With Alfred stabbed through the chest, young Bruce Wayne is now even more driven to root out every little piece of corruption that’s tainting his parents’ legacy. Even though we know this Alfred is as tough as nails, we still feel bad for the guy. And since Alfred is out of commission for the time being, Bruce is definitely a vulnerable target. Knowing how far the board has already gone, I’m willing to bet that Bruce may have an “accident” coming his way. Here’s the official synopsis for Everyone Has A Cobblepot:
"While Gordon seeks information about the recent controversy with Commissioner Loeb, Fish’s allegiance with the prisoners is questioned when she appears to join forces with Dr. Dulmacher (guest star Colm Feore, “The Borgias,” “24”). Meanwhile, after an attack close to home, Bruce deals with the aftermath in the all-new “Everyone Has A Cobblepot” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, March 2 (8:00-9:00 ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-118) (TV-14 L, V)"
And, of course, the exciting trailer for the episode:
