Marvel Reveals Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver Age Of Ultron Posters
By Nick Tylwalk
Marvel took a little bit of a break, but it wasn’t quite finished giving fans individual character posters from Avengers: Age of Ultron.
This time, we get our closest look yet at the Twins, since we’ve not seen Scarlet Witch or Quicksilver from this range yet. Yahoo! got to reveal the posters exclusively earlier today.
First up is Scarlet Witch, and while I would say it appears Wanda is ready to hex someone, that’s not really how her powers work in the film. So maybe she’s ready to levitate someone, or about to drop something heavy on one of Ultron’s robots. I do like the red energy signature for her powers, though, which is clearly visible here.
Her brother’s poster makes it look as if he’s zoomed right up to the camera.
(Sidebar: why is everyone looking at the camera in these posters while robots are clearly visible behind them? Turn around Avengers!)
We know Quicksilver is fast enough in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to give Captain America a hard time in hand-to-hand combat, but we’ll have to wait to see exactly how fast he is when he puts the pedal all the way to the floor.
I don’t expect we’ll get a Vision poster since he seems to be the one character Marvel would like to keep mostly under wraps. That means we might be finished, unless Ultron gets one or War Machine is making more than just a cameo.
As you no doubt know by now, Avengers: Age of Ultron is just weeks away, making its US debut on May 1.
