Gotham: Could Gerald Crane Return?
If you’ve been keeping up with Gotham, you know that they’ve basically done their own origin story on Jonathan Crane, aka the Scarecrow. It’s a legacy of being a true master of fear that starts with his father, Dr. Gerald Crane. Unfortunately, Dr. Gerald Crane met a rather bullet-filled demise, but the actor who played him hints that we still may not have seen the last of Gerald Crane.

Talking with Digital Spy, actor Julian Sands hinted that his character of Gerald Crane might pop up again on Gotham:
"A sticky end ain’t necessarily a sticky end. I had a very good time working on Gotham and it’s not inconceivable that Dr. Crane will be seen again!"
That sounds more like a hopeful wish than a hint of a return, but it’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Gerald Crane could certainly show up in a hallucination of a flashback. We’ll just have to keep watching Gotham and see if he reappears.
