Agents Of SHIELD Season 2, Episode 13 Synopsis: One Of Us
By Nick Tylwalk
In the words of wrestling philosopher Bad News Barrett, if there are Agents of SHIELD fans out there who can’t stand Skye, I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news. Now that she’s been transformed with Inhuman powers that she can’t control, she’s likely to be the focus of the show for most of the rest of Season 2.

On the plus side, she’s got a wildly entertaining and insane father who can’t seem to give up reuniting with her, even if it means destroying all her teammates to make it happen. In this week’s new episode, “One of Us,” we’ll see Cal do the logical thing (in his mind, anyway) by putting together a group of people with powers to take out Director Coulson’s crew. Maybe they should have asked Lady Sif to stick around …
Here’s the official synopsis for “One of Us” from ABC:
"Cal seeks revenge on Coulson by assembling a team of super villains to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, May calls on renowned Dr. Andrew Garner (Blair Underwood), her charismatic ex-husband, with a crisis that threatens to tear the team apart, on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Tuesday, March 17 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network."
People have such interesting exes on this show! Lance Hunter’s former wife was Mockingbird, and now we get to meet May’s ex-husband as well. As awesome as she is, I’m guessing she might have been just a tad difficult in a relationship. Also, she’d be wearing the pants in the marriage for sure, because who would argue with her?
As for Cal’s villains, it will be interesting to see what the writers do with established Marvel characters. In the comics, Karla Faye Gideon has no powers, while David A. Angar is known as Angar the Screamer, with sonic powers that could be used as a weapon or to cause hallucinations.
Agents of SHIELD has really picked up steam since returning from its winter break, and this episode should keep things trucking along. Check out “One of Us” on ABC and visit us on Wednesday morning to see what Christina Roberts thought as she dissects all the latest developments.
