Full Ant-Man Trailer Released

Who says Mondays aren’t awesome? As we start to taper down on our Netflix Daredevil high, Marvel Studios keeps the buzz going with the release of the latest and greatest Ant-Man trailer. Teased on Sunday, Marvel gave hungry fans a quick look at their latest trailer while promising more. And it seems like they really carried through on that promise in spades. Check it out:

As you can see, this full-length trailer has it all: action, adventure, humor (lots of it), and a compelling hero who’s a bit of an underdog. I’m really loving the tone Marvel is taking with this concluding installment of Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What do you think? Was this trailer all that you hoped it would be?

This Spring and Summer are truly proving to be a great time to be a Marvel fan. With two blockbuster movies premiering — Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man — Agents of SHIELD gaining more and more momentum on television, and the overwhelming success of Netflix’s Daredevil, the studio is certainly hitting a home run on all fronts.

Ant-Man is being directed by Peyton Reed, written by Gabriel Ferrari, Andrew Barrer, and Adam McKay, and starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Corey Stoll as Darren Cross / Yellowjacket, Bobby Cannavale as Paxton, Michael Peña as Luis, Judy Greer as Maggie, Tip “T.I.” Harris as Dave, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Wood Harris as Gale, Jordi Mollà as Castillo, and Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym / Ant-Man.

Set to release in the United States on July 17, 2015, Ant-Man will close out Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
