More from TV

Last week, when Gotham returned from its spring hiatus with its nineteenth episode, Beasts of Prey, we were introduced to a Cassanova-type sadistic serial killer — Jason Lennon, a.k.a. The Ogre.  This week, Detective James Gordon and Harvey Bullock continue their investigation of the deadly murderer, who actually threatens the loved ones of those pursuing him.  And Lennon now has his eyes set on Barbara Kean.  This case is especially important to Gordon because he discovered that corrupt Commissioner Loeb purposely dropped it in his lap — to get back at Gordon for attempting to clean up GCPD.

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne traveled to Gotham City to find Reggie and confront him about Alfred’s stabbing.  Upon his arrival, he runs into Selina Kyle, who agrees to help him.  When they find Reggie and get the questions they want, Reggie ends up threatening the two children.  In a bid to protect herself and Bruce, Selina makes her first kill and pushes Reggie out of a window.  Bruce finally sees what Selina is capable of.

With new information they learned about Bunderslough, will Bruce and Selina have enough to link Wayne Enterprises’ corrupt board to the attempted murder of Alfred and, ultimately, the murder of Bruce’s parents?  Here’s the official synopsis for Under the Knife:

"Gordon and Bullock continue to investigate the Ogre (guest star Milo Ventimiglia), who begins to make his move on someone close to Gordon. Meanwhile, Bruce and Selina team up to expose a corrupt Wayne Enterprises employee and Nygma comes to Kristin Kringle’s defense in the all-new “Under the Knife” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, April 20 (8:00-9:00 ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-120) (TV-14 D, L, V)"

And, of course, the exciting trailer for the episode:
