The first look at Marvel’s Spider-Man in Avengers: Age of Ultron after-credits scene is obviously fake!

A video has been doing the rounds that looks like a bootleg of the end of the Avengers: Age of Ultron credits that someone filmed on a camara/mobile phone. The video appears to show one of Marvel’s customary post-credit scenes and the reason it’s got everyone excited is because it appears to be the first look at Marvel’s Spider-Man.

As you can see it’s a short scene that shows a man cleaning a window, really slowly. You can see the Avengers tower in the background and eventually Spider-Man appears and tells the window cleaner that he’s missed a spot. The content seems in line with other Marvel post-credit teasers (like Howard the Duck) but it doesn’t look quite right.

Plus there’s the guarantee from Kevin Feige that Avengers: Age of Ultron will not only not have a post-credit scene but that Spider-Man will definitely not be in the movie. Now, I know that as a film studio Marvel probably have to go to great lenghts to ensure that the surprises remain unspoiled but flat-out lying to people doesn’t seem like their thing.

But, if you wanted to be really pedantic there is a mid-credit scene and depending on how you see it, it’s not neccesarily part of the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie itself so maybe Fiege is telling us little white lies and this is the Avengers: Age of Ultron end-credit scene. But I really sincerely doubt it.

This is fake.
